DESCRIPTION

IZOMET^Ò MMA is a rapid curing material so it can be used after one hour after application. And also it can be applied at a range of temperatures -30 to +30°C. It has 2 - 3 mm thickness at all and provides elastic, anti-bacterial (seamless), hard wearing, attractive floor and also has resistance to most dilute chemicals, impervious and easy to clean.

IZOMET^Ò MMA is a blend of methylmethacrylate resins and well granulated special silica aggregates. Has three components.

Each pack contains three components which is factory weighed an packaged so ready for site usage.

Also a pre-packaged primer (IZOMET^® Primer SF) is supplied.

IZOMET^Ò Self Leveling Screed is ideal to use in offices, showrooms, shopping centers, hospitals, clean room facilities, laboratories, pharmacies, switch gear plant rooms etc. and any application needs rapid usage, hygienic, attractive and ease to clean surfaces.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

· SURFACE PREPARATION

Concrete or cement substrates should be 28 days old and moisture content of substrate should be less than 5% at least. All latience and loose materials must be removed from the concrete surface.

Cracked or damaged substrate should be repaired with IZOMET^® Repair Mortar before application. Then all dust and debris should be removed. Oil or grease contaminated surfaces should be cleaned by a suitable detergent.

· MIXING COMPONENTS

If possible mix all the components with a mixer running at less than 400 rpm to avoid trapping air in material.

· PRIMING

Only IZOMET^® Primer SF used for priming. Mix resin and hardener until a uniform consistency is achieved. Apply with stiff brushes or rollers and layer must be like thin continuous film. Highly porous substrates may require two coats of priming.

· LAYING THE SCREED

IZOMET^Ò Self Leveling Screed is supplied in pre-weighed packs in exact proportions.

Mix resin and hardener until a uniform consistency is achieved. Then add aggregate slowly and continue to mix at least 5 seconds with mechanical mixer.

After mixing pour the screed to floor and spread with a toothed trowel to get 3 mm thickness. Use spiked nylon roller to release trapped air and level any slight trowel marks. Rolling must be continue until all air has been released.

· ANTI-SKID FINISH

If required use IZOMET^® Anti-Skid Granules to get non-slip surface. Apply material to wet surface by spraying and use approximately 0,1 kg/m².

CURING

After application area can be used after one hour.

CLEANING

After the application, all hand tools and other surfaces effected from uncured epoxy resin should be cleaned with IZOMET^® Cleaning fluid.

COVERAGE

IZOMET^® Primer SF (5 kg pack) : Covers 15-20 m².

IZOMET^® MMA (30 kg pack) : Covers 6 m² approximately.

IZOMET^® Anti-skid granules (30 kg pack) : Covers 300 m² approximately.

STORAGE

All materials should be kept in their tightly closed own packs. Under these conditions shelf life is minimum 12 months at normal temperatures.

CAUTION

Uncured epoxy resin kept away from mouth, eyes, food or drink.

Empty tins must not be used even cleaned by suitable methods.

During application or handling uncured epoxy resins, wear gloves or barrier creams.

In case of contact with skin immediately clean with warm water and soap.

Avoid inhaling vapor.

No other materials should be added.
