    DESCRIPTION

     IZOMETÒ Marine is a three component, epoxy resin + special hardener + well granulated quartz aggregates (if needed) system that has excellent facilities. It’s specially developed for underwater works and it can be used as a non shrink repair mortar or filling mortar that has excellent adhesion ability to metal, concrete etc. surfaces.

     The special formulation of IZOMETÒ Marine is suitable for underwater repairing works such as marine structure’s piles and/or surfaces and also has resistant to aggressive effects of sea water and splash zone.

     IZOMETÒ Marine can be applied, because of low modulus of elasticity, onto the steel pipes that crosses concrete, as a non shrink grout and water insulation material.

     IZOMETÒ Marine is a two component coating system which is factory weighed an packaged  so ready for site usage and is a blend of special epoxy resins.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

·       PREPARATION

     For best adhesion, all dust and debris should be removed from surface. Oil or grease contaminated surfaces should be cleaned by a suitable detergent.

·       MIXING COMPONENTS

     IZOMETÒ Marine is a three component material and supplied in pre-weighed packs in exact proportions. If possible mix all the components with a mixer running at less than 400 rpm to avoid trapping air in material.

·       APPLICATION

     If IZOMETÒ Marine is used for fillings only pour the mixture to the formwork. For repair mortar applications it applied by hand. Press hand full of mixture to application area. Fill the gap by this way.

    CURING

     Application can be made between 5°C  to 30°C. If application in over temperature places  call our technical service for help.

     Full cure takes 7 days.

    CLEANING DOWN

     After application all hand tools and other surfaces effected from uncured epoxy resin should clean with Izomet® Cleaning fluid.

    CONSUMPTION

     IZOMET® Marine is supplied  in 5 kg pre-weighed packages. Density is between 1,50-2,20 kg /dm³ (related to the amount of third component)

    STORAGE

     All materials should be kept  in their tightly closed own packs. Under these conditions shelf life is minimum 12 months at normal temperatures.

    CAUTION

     Uncured epoxy resin kept away from mouth, eyes, food or drink.

     Empty tins must not be used even cleaned by suitable methods.

     During application or handling uncured epoxy resins, wear gloves or barrier creams.

     In case of contact with skin immediately clean with warm water and soap.

     Avoid inhaling vapor.

     Do not use below 5°C.

     No other materials should be added.
