DESCRIPTION |
IZOMETÒ Epoxy Resin Grout is a
non-shrink grout and can be used for gap filling and load bearing applications,
and best for to use for places under affect of heavy dynamic or mobile loads
such as bridge supports, crane rails, high speed turbines etc. It can be used for
filling gaps at a range of 5 - 50 mm and also segregation doesn’t appear during
application.
IZOMETÒ Epoxy Resin Grout has three
components (resin + hardener + well granulated special silica aggregates) which
is factory weighed an packaged so ready
for site usage and is a blend of special epoxy resins. It has two different
designs due to the needs. If fast cure needed IZOMETÒ Epoxy Resin Grout /F is also supplied.

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE |

PREPARATION
Concrete or cement substrates
should be 28 days old and moisture content of substrate should be less than 5%
at least. All latience and loose materials must be removed from the concrete
surface.
All dust and debris should be
removed. If the surface is strong and latience appeared on surface it can be etched
then washed with water but surfaces with heavy latience should be sandblasted
until exposed aggregate shown. Oil or grease contaminated surfaces should be
cleaned by a suitable detergent.

MIXING COMPONENTS
If possible mix all the components with a
mixer running at less than 400 rpm to avoid trapping air in material. For mixing the mortar use forced
action mixer. Do not use fall mixers.
Steel structures should be free from rust. If
needed blast the steel surface according
to the Swedish Standard SA 2½. We advise you to coat steel structure with IZOMETÒ Epoxy Steel Primer-SF to avoid further affects so protect from
rust.

APPLICATION
IZOMETÒ Epoxy Resin Grout is a three
component material and supplied in pre-weighed packs in exact proportions.
After surface preparations pour the mix to
formwork from one side. Do not use vibrator. Pouring should be made continuously.
According to the volume of form-work prepare another mix before finishing the
first mix.

CURING |
Application can be made between 5°C to 30°C. If application in over temperature places call our technical service for help. After full cure material
shows resistance to frost and sub-zero temperatures.
Loading should not be allowed before full
cure.

CLEANING DOWN |
After the application, all hand tools and
other surfaces effected from uncured epoxy resin should be cleaned with Izomet®
Cleaning fluid.

EXPENDITURE |
IZOMET® Anchor-bond
is supplied in 15 kg pre-weighed
packages approximately 8-8,5 lt (resin + hardener + well granulated silica).

STORAGE |
All materials should be kept in their tightly closed own packs. Under
these conditions shelf life is minimum 12 months at normal temperatures.
|
CAUTION |
Uncured epoxy resin kept away
from mouth, eyes, food or drink.
Empty tins must not be used
even cleaned by suitable methods.
During application or handling
uncured epoxy resins, wear gloves or barrier creams.
In case of contact with skin immediately
clean with warm water and soap.
Avoid inhaling vapor.
Do not use below 5°C.
No other materials should be
added.
