    DESCRIPTION

IZOMETÒ Anti-Static Flooring has 4 mm thickness at all and applied as two layers. Provides low electrical leakage resistance, anti-bacterial (seamless), hard wearing, attractive floor and also has  good resistance to most dilute chemicals and easy to clean.

IZOMETÒ Conductive Primer is a three component material that is a blend of epoxy resins and graphite powder (filler). Applied on earthened surface to ensure a suitable ground over the entire floor area.

IZOMETÒ Anti-Static Floor Topping is also a three component system (resin + hardener + aluminum grid) which is applied like Self Leveling Screed system . It’s colored epoxy system and has a low electrical leakage resistance, and also by this layer easy cleaning and attractive surface obtained.

All materials are factory weighed an packaged  so ready for site usage.

    APPLICATION AREAS

IZOMETÒ Anti-Static Flooring is ideal for use in hospitals (intensive care and operating rooms), manufacture and handling of flammable liquids or materials, laboratories, computer rooms, munitions manufacturing plant, ammunition storage facilities, storage facilities for, sophisticated electronic-guided weapons etc. and any application needs low electrical leakage resistance, hygienic and easy cleaning surfaces.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

·       SURFACE PREPARATION

Concrete or cement substrates should be 28 days old and moisture content of substrate should be less than 5% at least. All latience and loose materials must be removed from the concrete surface.

Cracked or damaged substrate should be repaired with Izomet® Repair Mortar before the application. Then all dust and debris should be removed. Oil or grease contaminated surfaces should be cleaned by a suitable detergent.

·       EARTHENING

After surface preparation (before priming level), put copper strips and fix to the floor in suitable position according to size of floor space.

·       MIXING COMPONENTS

If possible mix all the components with a mixer running at less than 400 rpm to avoid trapping air in material.

·       PRIMING

Only IZOMET® Conductive Primer used for priming. Mix resin and hardener until a uniform consistency is achieved. Add filler slowly while mixing. Apply with toothed trowel by using approximately 1,0 kg per square meter. Then sprinkle to all surface 0,4-0,8 mm size range of clean silica sand about 300 grams per square meter.

·       TOPPING LAYER

When the primer is strong enough to carry foot traffic, brush all loose material from floor surface then begin to apply IZOMETÒ Anti-Static Floor Topping.

Mix all components until fully blended. After mixing pour the mix to floor and spread with toothed trowel to get approximately 3 mm thickness. Use spiked nylon roller to release trapped air and level any slight trowel marks. Rolling must continue until all air has been released but should not be over done, since the content of conductive grit will be reduced at the surface so the conductivity of the floor impaired.

·       ANTI-SKID FINISH

If required use IZOMET® Anti-Skid Granules to get non-slip surface. Apply the material to wet surface by spraying and use approximately 0,1 kg/m².

    CURING

After application food traffic must be prohibited until reaching initial hardness. Heavy traffic and chemicals should not be allowed before full cure (7 days).

    CLEANING DOWN

After the application, all hand tools and other surfaces effected from uncured epoxy resin should be cleaned with Izomet® Cleaning fluid.

    COVERAGE

IZOMET® Conductive Primer (15 kg pack)                 : Covers 15 m².

IZOMET® Anti-Static Floor Topping (20 kg pack)       : Covers 4 m²

IZOMET® Anti-Skid Granules (20 kg pack)                : Covers 200 m²

    STORAGE

All materials should be kept  in their tightly closed own packs. Under these conditions shelf life is minimum 12 months at normal temperatures.

    CAUTION

Uncured epoxy resin kept away from mouth, eyes, food or drink.

Empty tins must not be used even cleaned by suitable methods.

During application or handling uncured epoxy resins, wear gloves or barrier creams.

In case of contact with skin immediately clean with warm water and soap.

     Avoid inhaling vapor.

     Do not use below 5°C.

No other materials should be added.
